3 Top Smartphones Compared – Samsung Galaxy S III, HTC One X and Motorola Droid Razr Maxx 2

Respot Respot ++18

When it comes to choosing the best smart phones that are available today, there can never be a one-off choice available. You have to decide what you’re looking for in a smart phone to make a purchase since various models specialise in various features. Read on as we uncover the facts and features, pros and cons about the Samsung Galaxy S III, the HTC One X, and the Motorola Droid Razr Maxx handsets.

Samsung Galaxy S III

The Samsung Galaxy S III is loaded with features and apps that make it second only to the iPhone 5 in terms of performance and creativity. The screen is styled beautifully and the AMOLED backlit display is elegant and drool-worthy. There are 4G LTE speeds available, a fantastic dual-core processor that clocks at 1.5 GHz, a whopping expandable memory of 64 GB and much more powered by an Android 4.0 OS update.

However, looking at the drawbacks, Samsung has always been accused of ‘copying’ Apple and the Galaxy S III contains a not-so-cool version of the Siri voice assistant, the S Talk feature. Moreover, at 4.7 ounces, the phone isn’t exactly very slim for comfort, especially when there are other slimmer models around. Nevertheless, as one of the best performers, the Galaxy S III is our pick of the lot.

HTC One X

Designed as one of the premier performers on a budget, the Android powered HTC One X does not disappoint on its hardware front at all. It has a wonderful screen at 4.7 inches that allows for a lot of space to stack your apps and organise them with ease. The Android 4.0 OS is one of the best interfaces to build the 4G LTE service connectivity that the HTC One X comes with and the glitzy camera is another highlight with the device.

Sadly enough, the smart phone does not have a quad-core processor but for the price you pay, we feel the HTC One X is certainly a great choice.

Motorola Droid Razr Maxx

The only drawback that the Motorola Droid Razr Maxx handset has is the lack of a proper OS – Android’s 2.3.1 The Gingerbread OS is not suited for the high end smart phone that the Droid Razr Maxx is. That said, the smart phone is spectacular and well worth a look.

The design of the Droid Razr Maxx makes it one of the best parts of the phone. The screen measuring 4 inches is bright, receptive, and has a high resolution. The processor, at 1.2 GHz speeds, is fast enough to power the operations and multitasking that you generally do. Moreover, the 4G LTE services available on the smart phone is great. The 8MP camera at the rear of the phone is average in editing and video shooting quality.

If only the smart phone had a better OS – but with the promise of an Android update on the cards, there is a lot for Motorola fans to look forward to.
