Why I Required a Chicken Coop

My family had been raising chickens as long as I could remember. With the economy the way that it is is was clear that we were not going to be living in our current house very long, which meant that we were going to have to come up with something to do with the chickens. My parents talked about letting them go to someone else, but believe it or not you can actually get attached to the little guys. We decided the best thing to do was to find a way to take them along.
We started looking at a number of options. Then, my parents purchased a new home. I knew that I was going to have plenty of room to work with, so I was probably going to have to start looking for some chicken coop plans to build one myself. The new home was not going to have a chicken coop, and we really didn't want to build one.
I started to look for various chicken coop plans, but they were hard to find. We had started to raise chickens at the old house because the coop was there when we moved in.
There were quite a few places online to look for chicken coop plans, I did have a few sweet ideas that would help us to bring the cost down over a period of time, since we did not have all that much money I consulted with a few different guides and figured out how I could put it all together for a low price. Believe it or not, chicken coop plans are pretty detailed and involve a fairly large investment, which is something that I was not really willing to make at the time.It took me a little bit longer than a week, but I slowly brought the chicken coop plans into fruition. I could not have been more pleased with the way that everything turned out, and was happy we would not have to get rid of the chickens. Believe it or not, you get fairly attached to the little guys in a very short amount of time so I would have hated to have to see them leave. When it was all said and done, I realized it was a great project that helpedme through the move. It took me a whole week, but kept me busy during one of the most hectic timesin my life.
