What to Buy for mothers day ?

SO mothers day is coming . It falls on May 9, Sunday if you didn't know. But seriously now what do you buy for your mum for mothers day ? All those husband out there what do you buy your wife for mothers day ? I mean this is a really meaningful day for mothers as we celebrate and give gratitude to the person that raised and gave life to us with love . What would my life had been without her . How could a child ever repay that sacrifice ? As usual i am just not sure what would be a good present for my mum . I mean how do we know what they want . How to ask without ruining the element of surprise .
Being men i jump on the opportunity to buy something for my wife that would actually benefit me . I mean i could not think of any other alternative but Victoria Secrets .
Last year i tried to bake a cake and it went horribly wrong so this year i would be definitely be leaving cake baking to the professionals . I mean i am a great Cook but a terrible baker. Sitting down i kind of thought to myself why not just buy her flowers. Would it justify the cause . Oh well i guess i am back to the drawing block for this . I mean i still for about 2 weeks to think about it. Any suggestion from anyone would be a great help.
