What Can We Learn From The Japanese Nuclear Crisis?radiation sickness, mingled with being homeless, hungry, and mourning lost loved ones. How much more can the human soul take? This post may strike a nerve in some of my readers, but I merely want to make a point about how the Universe and Mother Nature work to protect themselves--and us.Disasters Keep Population Manageable Let's face it, the Earth is only so big and much of it is water. Many stretches of land are uninhabitable. Mother Nature has a way of keeping the balance in check through natural disasters. Imagine if there were never any earthquakes, tsunamis, hurricanes, tornadoes, or other catastrophes like the Black Plague. Many of those who died would have had children, and they would have had children, and so on. Surely, by this point in time the Earth would be overflowing with humans and things like food, water, and natural resources would be scarce.
