It is not easy to take photos from a car, windows are not 100% clean and even if you have a tripod, to hold the camera steady can be a challenge. Also you don’t get always get the best shot from the passenger’s side. Now I was kind of lucky here – since I was in a British car in Portugal and Spain – so it looks like I am in the middle of the road and bridge. (Which I by the way pretty much was!) At the moment the Algarve is covered in white and it is not snow, it is the almond trees that are in blossom. There is a beautiful legend from The Algarve: The story goes that an Algarve prince, who had brought his bride from a land far away in the north, was concerned about his princess melancholic mood.
