Zombie computers - a future Internet threat?



Numerous Internet crimes over the passed year are caused by programs that turn other computers into zombie-like slaves.
By inserting small programs into others computers, online criminals can gain power to commit multiple collective crimes, leaving the innocent users guilty. "It's the perfect crime, both low-risk and high-profit," computer security researcher Gadi Evron said. "The war to make the Internet safe was lost long ago, and we need to figure out what to do now."

I agree with you Guy. Bill Gates said that Spam will disappear in 2006, but now we are in 2008 and Spam have been increasing everyday. What can we do?
