The Great Wheel of China is expected to be the tallest Ferris wheel ever built. It will reach 680 feet and will cost $99 million. It will have 48 air-conditioned cabins which will carry 40 passengers each. The Wheel is being built in Beijing and will be finished in 2009.
Iran said Sunday it successfully tested a rocket that went into space, apparently part of its drive to launch five satellites into orbit by 2010.Iran's Science and Technology and Defense ministries built the craft, state-run television quoted Mohsen Bahrami, the head of Iran's Space Research Center, as saying. Apple Inc and Twentieth Century Fox are set to announce a new deal that will allow consumers to rent Fox movies through Apple's digital iTunes store. The agreement will allow rental's of Fox Latest DVD released by downloading a copy from iTunes for a limited time.This agreement, according to Pali Research analyst Stacey Widlitz, is cutting out middlemen.analyst Michael Pachter said this deal would only expand the universe of online renters. Pachter said the rental terms and movie release schedule will largely determine how successful the Apple-Fox deal is.
