China destroys satellite in space



Reports have spread that China used a medium-range ballistic missile to destroy a weather satellite.

Other countries view it as an agressive act. This is the first known satellite intercept test for more than 20 years.

Several countries are concerned that such act can start a space arms race.

China has refused to comment on the act.
