Yahoo has begun testing two Web services that are the fruit of intensive, one-day internal programming competitions. The first is MapMixer. It will let users take maps from the Web and overlay them onto the same locations - creating hybrid maps that work independently. MapMixer was a winner in a product design competition held at Yahoo's Sunnyvale, California headquarters in March. A second web service is "Shop by Color," It will give users an opportunity, as you have guessed from the name, to search for products by color.
