| Yesterday I wrote about Abu Qatada who has been released from jail on bail. Now he has to stay at home for 22-hour-a-day. Well he had released a book where he urges all Muslims to commit terrorist attacks in the West and kill the unbelievers. He had put the 71-page tract on the internet. He is on really thin ice and this book will make the ice even thinner. If you ask me I think the British should have deported him back to Jordan on the first flight and then show the video of his execution on the evening news.

| Yes, that's right Abu Qatada who is described as Bin Laden's right-hand in Europe was released from jail yesterday evening and for the time being he won't be deported back to Jordan where he is wanted on terror charges. The judge ruled out that if Abu Qatada were to return to Jordan he would receive an unfair trial breaching his human rights. Here he is: Strick restriction has been issued to Abu Qatada. He

| Today crude oil prices reached $135.04 that's a new record we don't want to see. The high prices are cause by the growing demand for oil and the weakening dollar. The earthquake in China has also played a major role in raising crude oil prices. Due to the earthquake some power plants are running low on coal and now rely on diesel generators to make power. It's not only the earthquake what is responsible. China, India, the Middle East are consuming more and more oil due to their fast development. The growing fuel prices are hitting every nation pretty hard. Even in Europe fishermen are preparing

| This should be filed under the humor section but this short anecdote describes very well what politics is. I think most of you would agree. A little boy goes to his dad and asks, “What is politics?” Dad says, “Well son, let me try to explain it this way: I’m the breadwinner of the family, so let’s call me capitalism. Your Mom, she’s the administrator of the money, so we’ll call her the Government. We’re here to take care of your needs, so we’ll call you the people. The nanny, we’ll consider her the Working Class. And your baby brother, we’ll

| As i said before it was wrong to recognize Kosovo's independence and there would be consequences to the rest of the world. Well here they are. Russia has announced that it would establish legal links with Abkhazia and South Ossetia. Georgia has already called an emergency security meeting saying Russia is annexing their territory. Georgia's foreign minister is calling Russia's move "de facto annexation" Now, I couldn't care less about Russia annexing Georgia's regions as far as I know these 2 regions want to be independent and want to join the Russian Federation. Plus many of

| I'm just disgusted by people who are using Tibet to boycott the Olympics in China. Those people should be ashamed of themselves. I understand that a lot of people out there are concerned and enraged by what it happening in Tibet and they have the right to protest but how dare they use the Olympic Games to achieve their goals.I don't think any protests will be able to boycott the Olympics nor the opening ceremony but the fact alone that people use the games to pressure the country is not right. Many athletes have been training to do their best at the Olympics and millions of people are looking

| This week was full of political events. Of course the biggest news was NATO summit in Bucharest. During the summit Bush struggled to invite Ukraine and Georgia to join the alliance thankfully some European leaders has enough balls and brains to say "no". Also Poland and the Czech Republic agreed to set up interceptors missiles and a radar dish on their territory - these countries are paid enough to keep their balls small and brains inactive. As you know both of these decisions are fiercely opposed by Russia. And I'm beginning to think they are doing this on purpose. It seems Bush wants

| If you read what I write here you know I don't believe in things said on the news. I believe or rather know that countries (or even the whole world) are controlled by a few very wealthy and powerful people. I believe in democracy but in order for a democracy to function properly people have to be interested in politics and be knowledgeable about political topics. Otherwise people can be easily manipulated by the media. The media is a tool, they show you what you need to know and don't show things you don't need to know. | The invasion of Iraq is a success said president George Bush. In his speech he said "The level of violence is significantly down. Civilian deaths are down. Sectarian killings are down. Attacks on American forces are down." Because of our invasion the world is a better and the US is a safer place now. Since the invasion 4,000 US and allied soldiers and tens of thousands of Iraqis have been killed. The only thing that invasion has done is destabilize the region, made the US muslim enemy #1 and made terrorist organizations more popular. But the more I think about it the more it becomes clear

| There's just so many new things you can learn from CNN. When reading CNN news I get the feeling of impending doom. Every news article about China, the Middle East or Russia is presented like "OH MY GOD! THEY ARE GOING TO KILL US!!!" Now, I know there are sensible people out there who don't believe everything that CNN writes but what scare me is that there are many people out there who do. Can you imagine what they think about the rest of the world. Today, CNN wrote a fantastic article called "Russia Threatens Force Over Kosovo". It looks like CNN is trying to keep everyone terrified.
