Earlier this week Gustav hit the shores of the United States. It wasn't as destructive as Katrina and this time the people were evacuated. However the storm still did some considerable damage to the town. Here are some photos from the location.

I really hate Vista. The other day I've decided to get a new hard disk, the old one was too noisy. So as it turned out you can't put Windows XP on a SAT hard drive, because the installation lacks drives for that. So I put Vista. Well, at first i liked the new look of the desktop but that was the only thing I liked about it.Once i installed vlc player to watch Friends Vista changed the gamma to suit the video. This was really annoying because the screen blinked every time when I fast forwarded to skip the into music. The way the folders look also realy annoyed me.The last straw was when my

It's not common to see fog during a sunset at least in Latvia. As you can see on the photos there is a think line of fog on the horizon which quickly disappeared when the sun came out. there were also a few drops of rain, you can see it on the third photo.
