I agree with hearing that and knowing, but when I hear Haitian people keep mention that " Only black to help U.S. in war" as a big deal, it makes me feel VERY stupid!instead, I would be more happy to hear the denounce to the world how remorseful and how awful they feel that their ancestors were part of fighting a war for people like Americans. Anyway, if it's was way back in the day, and probably they were forcing them to go to war...assuming that they were still slaves, therefore there is nothing to glorify. That, I can understand, but nothing to glorify, especially all the times. Fact is to me, it does more wrong to Haitian people then good. Because it looks like this kind of believing as to be a great history thing in Haitian lives probably have created a self destruction into Haitian people communities, where many of Haitians in order to feel important they feel that they have to keep on trying to prove the world they were part of some other countries history...or trying to name such a person who is a Haitian who was doing work for that foreign country- work that benefit that foreign country not Haiti.

Usually, pleasing foreign people seem to be an ultimate goal in many Haitian people living abroad, while they ignoring their own true history, own nationalities citizenship, their cultures, people, forget what "community organization means for a nation within a foreign country".

Wanna be like or wanna be part of another country is not the way to be a proud nation, especially to want to be part of another nation that cost you many of your people's lives, your dignity or more.

American people are one of the reasons why Haitians reputation is so awful and why Haiti is so poor....Do not believe the lame game blame about "Haitian Government Corruption".. It's just a way using to foreign overexploitation to get away with anything bad happen in Haiti or to Haitian people...

C'mon, you living in U.S. and if you from or have lived in Haiti then you should know or feel it for yourself.
