| This week was full of political events. Of course the biggest news was NATO summit in Bucharest. During the summit Bush struggled to invite Ukraine and Georgia to join the alliance thankfully some European leaders has enough balls and brains to say "no". Also Poland and the Czech Republic agreed to set up interceptors missiles and a radar dish on their territory - these countries are paid enough to keep their balls small and brains inactive. As you know both of these decisions are fiercely opposed by Russia. And I'm beginning to think they are doing this on purpose. It seems Bush wants

| Judging from this story, I'd say whatever they feed the kids in the UK is better than what we feed them here in the US. Otherwise I'd be either making my kids' lunch everyday or giving them some money to buy something instead of eating the down cattle and cartilage that the US feeds their kids at school.I remember the "school lunch is cool" commercials and posters when I was a kid - I wasn't so impressionable that I didn't trust my nose, those cafeterias stunk, especially on pizza or taco days. Fast food ain't health food but I bet they start with better ingredients than the

| The invasion of Iraq is a success said president George Bush. In his speech he said "The level of violence is significantly down. Civilian deaths are down. Sectarian killings are down. Attacks on American forces are down." Because of our invasion the world is a better and the US is a safer place now. Since the invasion 4,000 US and allied soldiers and tens of thousands of Iraqis have been killed. The only thing that invasion has done is destabilize the region, made the US muslim enemy #1 and made terrorist organizations more popular. But the more I think about it the more it becomes clear

| If you ask an average American, what is the family life in Russia, his imagination will bring the chaotic picture of poverty, drunkeness, and so on. If you convert this perception into the real picture of the artist, familiar with Russian reality, this mix will look as follows: If you do the same experiment in opposite direction, the picture will slightly change: Do you think, it is possible to break stereotypes between people from different countries, from different cultures?

| Some girls like guys with beards, like my wife thank God. But When you hear a girl say that they like a guy with a beard they usually are not talking about the guys that gathered at Brighton in the UK for the recent World Beard and Moustache Championship . Either these guys were married before deciding to imitate General Ambrose Burnsides or Chester A. Arthur, or they have taken up celibacy full time. Hey, I got nothing but respect for my bearded brethren, especially after keeping the beard completely untrimmed during the 18-1 season of the New England Patriots- those things get real itchy. Not

| One week ago I got a comment on a post stating that China is simply a "worker bee country." They were basically playing down my assumption that China will be the next superpower and how already the world is starting to cater to this awakening giant. Well today's story of China spying on the US should not be a surprise to anyone who really knows what is going on in China. Anyone who has ever thrown rocks at a beehive knows that a supposed "worker bee" can sting too.Past warnings about Chinese espionage have apparently been ignored, even though it is a well known threat.
