Hungary is going to unite 8 countries in construction of a gas pipe line around Russia

Hungarian MOL offered to unite 8 gas transmission companies of Central and Eastern Europe into a New Europe Transmission System (NETS) and construct a gad pipe line Nabucco around Russia. MOL is planing to constructs the gas pipe line system in Hungary, Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Romania, Bulgaria and Austria. Negotiation are scheduled to begin in early 2008.This is how they plan to do it. Russia's "GasProm" did not comment the Hungarian initiative to build NETS. Photo from Lenta.ru

Turkey blocks Youtube

Once again, Turkish internet users are denied access to youtube.com. Youtube was blocked because it had an insulting video about Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, the founder of modern Turkey. It's worth mentioning that insulting Turkey or Mustafa Kemal Ataturk is a crime.The same situation happened in march 2007 when Turk Telecom the largest Turkish internet provider blocked Youtube after discovering an offensive clip about Mustafa Kemal Ataturk. 2 days later youtube removed the clip and the ban was lifted
