| It can be extremely difficult to film certain animals in the wild and when/if you do find them filming them can be very tricky or even dangerous. Filming animals makes them accustomed to human presence thus they stop being afraid of humans which can end badly for both human and animal. John Downer decided to eliminate the human presence from filming. He put cameras in logs and he fixed some on elephants.
