| I'm just disgusted by people who are using Tibet to boycott the Olympics in China. Those people should be ashamed of themselves. I understand that a lot of people out there are concerned and enraged by what it happening in Tibet and they have the right to protest but how dare they use the Olympic Games to achieve their goals.I don't think any protests will be able to boycott the Olympics nor the opening ceremony but the fact alone that people use the games to pressure the country is not right. | Here is a raw video of Tibetans on horseback, like a band of Cossacks or even Pancho Villa riding into a remote village to declare their freedom from China. I am actually surprised this video made it out due to China's crackdown on media coverage in Tibet.Regardless of where you stand on the Tibet question, you have to have respect for these guys as they face a nuclear power in China with horses, rocks and the occasional hunting rife. | I've never been too vocal about the Tibet movement, probably because of the Dalai Lama's penchant for hanging out with celebrities to get his message across. I'm sure His Holiness is a great guy but the pandering to the Richard Gere types just rubs me the wrong way.However, with the recent clashes in Tibet with Chinese authorities, it shows me that maybe average Tibetans and the monks are getting fed up with the lack of progress.
