Corpus Cristi is celebrated with vigour throughout Spain, and Tenerife is no exception. In the town of La Orotava the event is noted for the beautiful carpets of flowers that cover the streets for one brief day of festivities. The very precise flower pictures and patterns are created using natural sand, coloured salt and flowers and completely cover the main streets It's amazingly beautiful!

I like sand sculpture a lot but I think it's a pity that these sculptures disappear so fast. It's a lot of work for such a small time!

This is one of my favorite photoshoots. I wasn't planning on going to the beach that day but one of my friends was having a bd so i decided to drop in for a short visit. the beach was along the way so I figured as long as I'm there why not take some shots. It was on June 9, 2005 This sand castle turned out great it looks like it made of people or body parts. In case you are wondering how to make these all you need is wet sand. You grab some and let the it drip off your fingers. The sun is directly behind the castle what's why the background is white. Funny drawing on the sand.

Lindsay Ann Hawker (22) from Brandon had been teaching English in Japan for the past five months. Police in Japan have issued an arrest warrant for 28-year-old Japanese man Tatsuya Ichihachi.Miss Hawker's father, Bill Hawker, and boyfriend, Ryan Garside, were "extremely distressed" but had travelled to Tokyo to identify her body.
