Gay Parade in Riga 2008

On May 31 there was a gay parade in Riga and it didn't go so well. Nobody got hurt during the parade the police kept the protesters away from the gays. Only 200 gays took part in the parade but there were 700 protesters. Here are some videos from the parade.In the interviews some gays said that this shows the scale of intolerance towards gay people in Latvia and some even said that the people are intolerant of blacks. For as long as I've lived here and that's 23 years I've not seen or heard any intolerance or discrimination of gays and especially blacks. Some people here don't like gypsies
