You can't fire citizens when things go bad and that is their biggest ace in the hole when running a company. "Oh no, the company can't afford to pay me my 300 grand? Well we better cut a couple thousand jobs." Notice how taking a pay cut is never in their business plan.And here is where the numbers get fudged . When all these recently laid-off and fired people file for unemployment the unemployment rate in America rises.

| A house in Odessa, Texas where George Bush lived in his childhood was set on fire on Thursday. Investigator believe it was arson but no suspects were named yet. The house was also part of the presidential museum.Museum administrator Lettie England said there was no motive for arson nor was it a political act. Arsonists spread a flammable liquid on the door and front windows.The front door, windows and attic were seriously damaged. Lettie England has vowed to restore the house.

| I have always felt that when it comes to political polls, it's the tail wagging the dog. If anything, the poll results splayed on CNN every day are a huge influencing factor on how people vote. Polls this early in the race do not show, in my opinion, who people may be voting for - instead it TELLS people WHO they should vote for. In my mind there is no better example of this than the campaign of John Edwards.He talks the talk, looks like he belongs in a wax museum, and made millions as an ambulance chaser. Can you trust this guy? Can you trust any lawyer? He comes off as slimy and manipulative.
