This is a rehearsal for the opening ceremony of 2008 Olympics games in Beijing. The ceremony itself is scheduled for the 8 of august at 8:00 pm. So the date is 08.08.2008 at 8:00 pm. This date and time was chosen because the number 8 symbolizes prosperity.Despite the secrecy around the opening ceremony there is some information regarding the event. the ceremony will last 90 minutes. I'm just disgusted by people who are using Tibet to boycott the Olympics in China. Those people should be ashamed of themselves. I understand that a lot of people out there are concerned and enraged by what it happening in Tibet and they have the right to protest but how dare they use the Olympic Games to achieve their goals.I don't think any protests will be able to boycott the Olympics nor the opening ceremony but the fact alone that people use the games to pressure the country is not right.
