Exclussive Photos or a leopard attacking a crocodile

This is the first documented case of a leopard attacking a crocodile. Wildlife photographer Hal Brindley made the shots while taking photos of hippos in Kruger National Park. The leopard managed to grab the crocodile by the throat and suffocate it. Usually predators don't see crocodiles as prey because the risks of tackling a crocodile outweigh the meat it provides. This leopard must have been pretty desperate.

Wild animals in cities

If this video is real then it's strange that leopards and tigers were walking around the city. However I enjoyed the scene when the tiger walked into the store :)

Amur leopards are very rare, there are as much as 35 left in the wild. Their natural habitat is on Siberia's Pacific coast near the Korean border. This, yet unnamed, cub was born 14 weeks ago in Marwell Zoo in Hampshire. Thanks to a successful breeding program there are around 150 amur leopards at zoos.Amur leopard's fur is thicker than that of their African cousins to keep them warm in the Siberian cold.

Leopard running on standard PCs By Dean Pullen: Monday, 29 October 2007, 7:14 AM IN WHAT SEEMS record time, OSx86 scene has released details of a hack to allow the newest and greatest edition of OSX, 'Leopard', to run on a non-Apple computer.Full details were released here on how to get the new operating system, only released earlier this week, running on your own 'HackinTosh'.Unfortunately, even if you own a legitimate copy of Leopard, this kind of tinkering is against Apple's terms and conditions.

The moos of a cow, bleating of a goat from the phone has proved effective to trap leopards

Forest guards in western India are using cell phones with ringtones of cows mooing, goats bleating and roosters crowing to attract leopards that have wandered into human settlements. The wild cats in the state of Gujarat often roam into villages near forests in search of food and often attack on people. Forest guards have downloaded the sounds of over a dozen animals as ringtones on their mobiles which they attach to speakers and fix behind a cage.Wildlife activists welcomed the new initiative saying that previous methods of trapping the cats using pits often resulted in the animals getting injured.via

MacOs X Leopard is due in October

Apple delays its MacOS X Leopard launch, because part of the developers is too much busy with iPhone creation.iPhone will be most likely released in June 2007. New Apple operation system should be due in October 2007. Leopard is expected to show new features including a file back-up feature called "Time Machine" and improvements to its e-mail and instant messaging software. Another feature allows users to move from their standard desktop view to an archival view showing every change made to a particular file.I expect this OS to be pretty cool.
