Kolmanskop is a ghost town in southern Namibia, a few kilometers inland from the port of Lüderitz. In 1908 Lüderitz plunged into diamond fever and people rushed to the desert hoping to make a fortune. In 2 years the town complete with a casino, school, hospital and exclusive residential buildings was built. In 1950's after the drop of diamond sales the town was deserted.
