| The invasion of Iraq is a success said president George Bush. In his speech he said "The level of violence is significantly down. Civilian deaths are down. Sectarian killings are down. Attacks on American forces are down." Because of our invasion the world is a better and the US is a safer place now. Since the invasion 4,000 US and allied soldiers and tens of thousands of Iraqis have been killed. The only thing that invasion has done is destabilize the region, made the US muslim enemy #1 and made terrorist organizations more popular. But the more I think about it the more it becomes clear

| Wow George Bush, $600-$1200 bucks! Did you think of that all by yourself? Of course not, but you'll take credit for this latest half-assed attempt to stabilize the US Economy. This so called Stimulus Package is less than what the US spent in Iraq this year and it's supposed to keep us from recession? How is giving us a rent check going to stop the slide? Most people I know eligible for this "refund" have little or no money invested, they can't afford it. I'd say put it in the bank but with the dollar so weak there is no guarantee that it won't evaporate in the next few years.

| Well another year and another huge spending bill for the US Government - it's getting to the point where it does not matter what big number they pull out. With the Dollar dropping like a rock, it's all funny money anyway. $555 Billion! That's right Billion, with $70 Billion going straight to Iraq to build more state-of-the art police stations nobody uses. In the meantime our roads and bridges here in America look like we're the ones that have gone through a war. American manufacturing has gone the way of the US Steel industry and the gap between rich and poor is making Karl Marx say "I
