If you are Interested in Genealogy, Start the Right Way!

My interest in genealogy started eleven years ago when I was helping put together a family reunion. Interest in family genealogy has grown over the past decade. It has become one of the popular hobbies.More and more people are wondering where they came from, what did my ancestors do for a living, why am I the person I am today? With every passing generation you discover, you will become more intrigued.

The Taos Hum

The ‘Taos Hum’ is a low-pitched sound heard in numerous places worldwide, especially in the USA, UK, and northern europe. In 1997 Congress directed scientists and observers from some of the most prestigious research institutes in the nation to look into a strange low frequency noise heard by residents in and around the small town of Taos, New Mexico. For years those who

Star Forts

Star forts evolved during the age of black powder and cannons in the 16th century. The traditional medieval circle forts proved to be vulnerable to cannon fire. Star fortifications were first introduced in Italy in the mid 15th century. The wall were made of brick because the bricks don't shatter like stone when struck by a cannon ball. These forts still stand today, many are empty or ruins some have villages in them. Palmanova, Italy

American Relations with the Khmer Rouge

Relations Between the Khmer Rouge and the American Government The relations between the Khmer Rouge government of Cambodia and that of the United States, while spanning many decades and involving numerous administrations, were primarily motivated by the national interest as either side came to define it. For successive American regimes, Cold War politics and the self-interest it engendered guided the foreign policy imperatives of the time. The American policy shift from one end of the spectrum to the other - tentatively opposing the Khmer Rouge initially while supporting them in later years -
