What Fools We Americans Are

What fools we Americans are. We claim to have representation at the highest councils of our government. Yet our congresspersons and senators do and vote for what is best for themselves. They represent only their own economic interest. What fools we Americans are.Elections are coming soon. Again we are asked to vote for the person best suited to represent our views. Yet we all know that the person we elect, regardless of party affiliation, will not represent our views but only the view that best suits their own economic interest. What fools we Americans are.We claim to have high morals. Yet we

Physicians for Human Rights Prove U. S. Tortured Prisoners

For the first time in the history of the United States of America I am ashamed of my country and its leaders!!! Leading doctors and mental health professionals examined former prisoners of Abu Ghraib prison in Iraq and Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, and found evidence of of U.S. torture and war crimes. I do not mean your run of the mill pushing and shoving, I mean real torture. Some men reported, and the doctors found evidence of, being raped by sticks and other objects. Also, being shocked by electric wires on various parts of the body. Also reported were incidents of being stripped naked and paraded

Immigration and Customs Enforcement Conduct Raids

Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) today conducted raids in Houston Texas rounding up over 100 illegal aliens. Normally I would criticize the ICE. But today I have nothing but praise for them. In my humble opinion it is about time. The illegal aliens they rounded up are not working men and women trying to feed their families. They are fugitives running from the law as well as ICE. Most are wanted for violent crimes such as murder, wife beating, assault and a host of other lesser crimes. Houston Texas has over 38,000 fugitives that are also illegal aliens. Most of these fugitives could care

Why ISP’s Spy on You

While using the internet some of your most personal and sensitive information is sent across an Internet Service Provider (ISP) network.. This click stream data includes: every URL you visit search terms you enter in URLs URLs from search engines you enter I recently discovered that government(US) standards now require that ISPs equip their networks to keep a record(s) of real-time surveillance of a target's e-mails, VOIP calls and internet usage -- as well as data like IP address assignment and web URLs.

Government birth control program in Brazil

Just when a week passed since Pope Benedict XVI denounced government-backed contraception in a visit to Brazil, the president unveiled a program to provide cheap birth control pills at 10,000 drug stores across the country.Brazil already hands out free condoms and birth control pills at government-run pharmacies. Green mountain in China

Local government in China have been criticised for spraypainting Laoshou mountain green. The mountain was supposed to be re-forested, but instead 45 days workers sprayed it green. Villagers living near by were forced to leave their homes due to the strong smell of paint. Goverment says the workers were improving the view from a newly-built government building. What a strange act.
