Israel is reducing power supply to Gaza as par of a plan to severe its economic ties with the territory. They have already cut 5% on one of the 10 power line that supply Gaza. Israel say this is a signal and they will continue the disengagement process and hope the Palestinians will focus on getting new energy sources then making rockets.I seriously doubt that this move will prevent the extremists from making rockets they will soon let the people suffer and continue their production.

Israel which earned international condemnation for the blockaded has allowed fuel trucks with diesel and cooking gas to enter Gaza today. Director of the power plant says they are going to restart the generators in the coming hours. But the supply of fuel is unpredictable and the power plant has no reserve.The fuel blockade cause power cuts and left hospitals with no power and no way to operate on the patients or care for the newborn babies.UN said it would stop the delivery of food and aid to hundreds of thousands of people if the blockade continued. Gaza city has plunged into darkness after the power plant was shutdown on Sunday three days after the Israeli fuel blockade. Now 1.5 million Palestinians in Gaza are struggling to cope with power cuts. Hospitals are now on emergency power but it won't hold for long. Patients who need operation and newborn babies in the maternity wards are at risk. Lack of power also affected the bakeries, many has stopped production because they have no power or flour. Israel's security cabinet has labeled the Gaza Strip an "enemy entity", thus giving the opportunity for cuts in fuel and other vital supplies to the territory. Hamas said that this action was a "declaration of war".
