Well, well Edwards - good thing you pulled out of the race huh!? Well it is just another story of politicians that don’t live up to the moral standard they try to impose on the country. To be honest I am sick of hearing about it and I think we should just have it out in the open. In France, it is understood that a person of high powers has a mistress or something like that. I am not saying that it is right, but at least they don’t stand on their soapbox preaching family values while using state salaries to pay for women. So it seems that for my first post I must talk about the corruption that goes on in the White House. It was just found out that a Bush Official was found accepting bribes so that someone could set up a meeting with Cheney or Rice. *Sigh* is this what it comes to? That politics are so corrupt that donations drive the laws and the law makers? I have always felt that when it comes to political polls, it's the tail wagging the dog. If anything, the poll results splayed on CNN every day are a huge influencing factor on how people vote. Polls this early in the race do not show, in my opinion, who people may be voting for - instead it TELLS people WHO they should vote for. In my mind there is no better example of this than the campaign of John Edwards.He talks the talk, looks like he belongs in a wax museum, and made millions as an ambulance chaser. Can you trust this guy? Can you trust any lawyer? He comes off as slimy and manipulative.
