| In an interesting story Foxnews reports that the father of an 18 year old girl will be released from jail today. He was jailed because the 18 year old girl refused to attend GED classes. To me, this is a very interesting case. Or should I say an interesting abuse of the legal system. According to this legal thesis, relatives of any criminal can and should be held to account for the crimes of other adults. | Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) today conducted raids in Houston Texas rounding up over 100 illegal aliens. Normally I would criticize the ICE. But today I have nothing but praise for them. In my humble opinion it is about time. The illegal aliens they rounded up are not working men and women trying to feed their families. They are fugitives running from the law as well as ICE. Most are wanted for violent crimes such as murder, wife beating, assault and a host of other lesser crimes. Houston Texas has over 38,000 fugitives that are also illegal aliens. Most of these fugitives could care

| Oh no! Celtics star Paul Pierce threw up a "Gang Sign" a couple of night's ago and now the world is up in arms. Now even if it was a gand sign, which it may have been, that does not mean "Truth" is a gangmember. And just how far have the PC police gone that you can't even try to intimidate your opponent on the court or playing field? What if Paul Pierce just went with the good old fashioned middle finger - that's not a gang sign but still conveys a powerful message. And I bet it would still be a front page story .For me it's an uproar in the wrong place - Paul Pierce isn't

| One of my blog readers asked for my opinion on the danger of being a subject of identity theft in the modern society. My initial position on the topic (before I started Internet digging) was complete problem rejection. I considered the related noise as a one more syndrome of the modern world paranoia. However, to my surprise, the Internet delivered significant amount of factual and statistical data proving the validation of the problem reality. Identity Theft Just two shocking cases:A young teenager daughter is asking for mommy’s credit card information to order pizza for the party. Mommy

A spokeswoman for Gloucestershire police said a patrol car had stopped to make a routine check on a blue L-registration BMW 3 series that was parked in a lay-by just off junction 12 of the motorway near Gloucester. But, as police pulled up behind the BMW, two shots were fired from the vehicle.

| NBC Shells Out $1 Million For First Post Prison Paris Hilton Interview Crime pays for Paris Hilton. NBC has shelled out one million smackers for the rights to her first post jail interview. Of course, Paris took the money, but she refused to be interviewed by Matt Lauer because he has made some ugly remarks about her in the past. Instead she will be questioned by Today Show co-host Meredith Viera.I think Paris is forgetting that Matt Lauer showed her some love at least once, when he dressed like her for Halloween.
