This is a cool list of the 20 best places to live in the world, but it is pretty sad that the US only made it onto the list at the twenty spot with Hawaii (I think tropical places should have been excluded). But we are considered the largest and richest country in the world, why is it that we don't have any cities that are considered some of the greatest cities in the world? I will tell you, white flight to the suburbs drained the city of culutre, wealth and education and all was left was the under funded public systems ready to collapse with no investment in them. Kandovan village is well known for its exquisite rocky architecture which is made by volcanic activities. The inhabitants have managed to carve their houses out of the huge rocks; that is to carve kitchen, hall, and pen out of stone and to make windows for the rooms and later, to decorate them with colorful glasses. In one word, the village structure is incredibly beautiful. Kandovan is home to 670 people whose main occupations are agriculture and animal husbandry. It is believed that people who were fleeing from Mongol invaders first came to this village for refuge and then settled here

I like sand sculpture a lot but I think it's a pity that these sculptures disappear so fast. It's a lot of work for such a small time!
