| Here is a raw video of Tibetans on horseback, like a band of Cossacks or even Pancho Villa riding into a remote village to declare their freedom from China. I am actually surprised this video made it out due to China's crackdown on media coverage in Tibet.Regardless of where you stand on the Tibet question, you have to have respect for these guys as they face a nuclear power in China with horses, rocks and the occasional hunting rife. I'm not sure the Dalai Lama has anything to do with this - he does not need any involvement. Tibetans are frustrated and no amount of non-violent training

| I've never been too vocal about the Tibet movement, probably because of the Dalai Lama's penchant for hanging out with celebrities to get his message across. I'm sure His Holiness is a great guy but the pandering to the Richard Gere types just rubs me the wrong way. However, with the recent clashes in Tibet with Chinese authorities, it shows me that maybe average Tibetans and the monks are getting fed up with the lack of progress. The images are far from non-violent resistance advocated by their Buddhist faith. You can see the frustration as monks help smash shop windows - and if you really

| One week ago I got a comment on a post stating that China is simply a "worker bee country." They were basically playing down my assumption that China will be the next superpower and how already the world is starting to cater to this awakening giant. Well today's story of China spying on the US should not be a surprise to anyone who really knows what is going on in China. Anyone who has ever thrown rocks at a beehive knows that a supposed "worker bee" can sting too.Past warnings about Chinese espionage have apparently been ignored, even though it is a well known threat. | Do you ever wonder why the US is no longer top dog? One reason is that we refuse to learn or speak any other language than our fractured version of English. American kids can barely speak their native tongue thanks to IM and slack-jawed rappers that make it a point to not speak correctly. Our Government agencies like the CIA and FBI can't find enough Arabic speakers to help in the War on Terror. In the meantime, students in Great Britain will be able to take Mandarin Chinese to help keep their country relevant once China becomes the world's major power. There is nothing more pathetic than watching

| Let me ask you something: Do you think the world community really cares how China treats its people? Sure the Free World regurgitates the rhetoric once in a while, but considering how much money the world makes off the booming Chinese economy, do they really care? Sure, the US cares a little when they paint our toys with lead paint, but do we care about that poor soul who is painting those toys - probably at gunpoint? The Chinese economy is rising at a pace that it has been able to ignore the rising pollution, the loss of farmland, AIDS, the displacement of millions due to the poorly planned Three
