| 26 dolphins died when they swam in the Percuil River, near Falmouth. For some reason they left the deeps waters and swam into the shallows where they were stranded. Only 7 were rescued. The British Divers Marine Life Rescue suggests that a Navy ships' sonar may be responsible . It could have disorientated the dolphins which caused them to swim into the shallow water.

When Virgin Galactic and other companies begin offering public flights into space, they will need rules control the behaviour of British subjects in orbit and prevent criminal offenses in space, ban dumping of waste and prevent damage to Mars and the Moon. | Gordon Brown has arrived in Baghdad to discuss when Iraqi forces can take responsibility for security in the southern province of Basra. Britain is expected to withdraw 2,000 soldiers from Bases in Basra early next year. | Tony Blair announced today that he wants to withdraw British troops from Iraq, 1500 people for now, which will shortly return back home.Blair also told the House of Commons that about 3000 Brittish soldiers will have left Iraq by the end of 2007.
