An idea I never though possible but it's true. The skin of this BMW is a light, flexible material that can open up and stretch. This is only a concept but I'm sure mass production isn't far behind. If you think the car is less safe with the cloth skin than with metal you're wrong. The skin of the car doesn't protect the driver from impact the frame does that. My only concert is that this skin can tear open if you scratch it something. source

In celebration of the M130th birthday BMW has unveiled their new M1 hommage concept at Concorso d'Eleganza at Villa d'Este. This concept is not intended for mass production which is too bad because the car looks amazing.

It's a revolution in car history. The BMW have made a car which learns the route and the drives itself.

M3 and veyron in a drag race. The M3 had a good start but not good enough.

A father from Romania named his daughter SLK Caldarar after the Mercedes model. The man insisted on it, saying he loves car and had the baby been born as a boy, the father would have named him BMW. The man, from Chisinau Cris in Arad county, reportedly surprised staff at the register's office with the name. Mr Caldarar said: "The SLK is one of the most famous models of the Mercedes class; it's expensive and beautiful."
