Antares the baby tiger cub from the Berin Zoo makes his first steps in public in front of many cameras. Just look at this cute, fuzzy face and really big paws. Don't you just want to hug the darling thing?

Maeuschen is a 40-year-old Asian bear who lives at the Berlin Zoo. 8 years ago the bear became friends with a black cat and since that day they have been together. Last October the pair was separated when the bear's living space was enlarged. The bear was put in a cage but the cat was sitting outside of the cage pining for her friends. So the keepers allowed the cat to enter the cage. The

German artist Gunnar Green has made an interesting project in using plants and bacteria in modern art. He worked in Berlin and the scientists were really sceptical about the idea.After whole series of experiments, the artist stopped at the thought of making letters and words, using live organisms.For instance, one of his objects represents sor of an acquarium, where algae slowly forms letters. Another his invention is soap-like material, which contains E.coli bacteria. If holding the object in warmth, bacteria multiplyand form letters. More of Green's works
