| Yesterday a man armed with a knife held a baby hostage northeast of Adelaide has surrendered peacefully after a four-hour stand-off. Police negotiators resolved the incident at a house in Berri Road, Hope Valley, shortly before 5pm (CST). The man left the house, handed over the baby and surrendered to police.
