A black bear was tranquilized when it was found wondering in the a Florida's beachfront neighbourhood. The bear got in the water after it was hit by the tranquilizer dark. Wildlife officer Adam Warwick jumped in after the bear because the drug was taking effect and the beak could drown. Mr Warwick managed to get the beak back to the shore.

The white killer whale was finally spotted in Alaska's Aleutian Islands. Scientists have heard of the white killer whale years ago but it eluded the researchers all this time. A months ago scientists have found the elusive killer whale and Holly Fearnbach, a research biologist with the National Marine Mammal Laboratory in Seattle took this photo. As observation showed the killer whale is not all white, some of its part are yellowish and brownish.

Letters and phone calls bombard the Nuremberg Zoo in Germany for letting polar bears cubs starve. 2 polar bear mothers Vera and Wilma gave birth three weeks and five weeks ago respectively. It's not known how many cubs are there, no one has seen them yet. Wilma is showing all the characteristics of a good mother. But Vera looks like is starving her cubs to death.She spends many hours outside her lair, neglecting her young and the hungry cries of bear cubs can be heard coming from the lair.Nuremberg Zoo officials do not want to hand-rear the cubs and start another "Knutmania" They say
