| On May 31 there was a gay parade in Riga and it didn't go so well. Nobody got hurt during the parade the police kept the protesters away from the gays. Only 200 gays took part in the parade but there were 700 protesters. Here are some videos from the parade. In the interviews some gays said that this shows the scale of intolerance towards gay people in Latvia and some even said that the people are intolerant of blacks. For as long as I've lived here and that's 23 years I've not seen or heard any intolerance or discrimination of gays and especially blacks. Some people here don't like gypsies

| I was switching though the channels yesterday and came across Eurovision semifinals and it was great! Israel was finishing their song and next was Estonia and I'm glad I decided to watch it because I like freak shows and Eurovision is a freak show. During the last few years the song and the singers were getting freakier, stupider and in some cases uglier. So after watching Estonia perform I thought there might be more such crap and I was right. Ireland came out with an amazing song and costumes. Finland played the best song and the only song worthy of being called a song. Here are 2 videos.1.

| I'm just disgusted by people who are using Tibet to boycott the Olympics in China. Those people should be ashamed of themselves. I understand that a lot of people out there are concerned and enraged by what it happening in Tibet and they have the right to protest but how dare they use the Olympic Games to achieve their goals.I don't think any protests will be able to boycott the Olympics nor the opening ceremony but the fact alone that people use the games to pressure the country is not right. Many athletes have been training to do their best at the Olympics and millions of people are looking

| The 2008Motor Show in Geneva had some interesting new designs. There were many cars to see I personally liked the new Volkswagen. The front looks alot like Mitsubishi Lancer or Galant. The Mercedes C-class is simply amazing. But there were some disappointment with another Mercedes model - the SL 63 AMG. I'n not talking about performance details now, only design and I think they have spoiled the SL design by giving it those ugly headlights. The next motor show opens today in New York. Can't wait to see it.
