Hello En-gerl! Happy 5th Birthday! While you and your siblings are in dreamland, Mommy’s here writing this letter. At 8pm you’re already asleep because you are too excited for our swimming tomorrow. You were torn between having a party or an overnight stay at Club Manila East in celebration of your birthday. Finally you chose the latter. That’s how much you’ve grown now. At this moment, Mommy’s getting nostalgic-- so allow me. Five years ago, I had an easy delivery with you. I didn’t make it...

“Finish your meals or nobody’s going out to play!” “And what did I tell you about your dirty clothes? Where’s the laundry basket again?!” “Will you all three please stop fighting?!” I know just by reading these lines is kind of exhausting. And that’s exactly what I feel after a day of taking care of my three kids. I look forward to our bedtime because by then, my hyper active children would mellow down as they watch their favorite Tom & Jerry Show, Barney or Sesame Kids CD/DVD collections...

It was indeed an elating feeling to see our two kids walk up the stage and received their awards after almost 10 months in Kinder and Preparatory. At my daughter’s Recognition Day, it was just me who accompanied her (though her Dad promised to be on her Graduation Day on Wednesday). She was Top 2 this year aside from getting an Achiever, Most Creative and Leadership Award and though she lost the Top 1 position unlike last year, it was fine with me. I know how my daughter did at school this...

The benefits of having two princesses in the family— hand me down clothes, shoes, toys and other girly stuff go straight to the little one. I am glad that my older daughter doesn’t mind giving away her stuff to her little sis when it doesn’t fit her anymore. On the other hand, my youngest accepts it wholeheartedly and even takes pride most of the time that what she’s wearing is from her big sissy. Some people think that it’s a pity for the little one to have second hand items but I say it’s...

After my two preschoolers graduated and their summer vacation officially started, I had spare time to sneak in some online work even during the day and weekends. Preparing them for school was a tedious task for me. I had to wake up early to prepare their snacks in take-out boxes for school, arrange their school uniforms, make sure their shoes are all black and shiny (I don't like sending my kids off to school with unpolished shoes, so yes, I polished it every morning.) and check their notes...

I'm just here. Lurking around the web to learn new things especially when it comes to parenting, blogging and working online. Of course, that is just in case you missed reading new posts from this blog. I've been greatly inspired by lots of work at home moms these past few days and that made me a reader for now rather than a writer of my own blog. I love reading their tips and tricks on how they handle their kids amidst their booming career online. That made me think that perhaps I am being...

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Walgreens for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine. Many of my colleagues had looked for better opportunities outside the country. As the saying goes "the grass is greener on the other side". Well, indeed that saying is true. They are now living a lot better and are actually enjoying life that they could never have if they stayed here. Feeling home sick is already a given fact especially for those living alone to earn more by working...

I am so glad I came up with this monthly posting. The last topic I posted was about Valentine's Day and look at the date, it's already the first day of a new month! Well, my dear lappy's charger had gone AWOL since last week after it's crazy acts of going on and off during the previous days. So, I guess that could be enough reason why I haven't updated this blog. But I already bought a replacement plus a new pink mouse! Yay for me! Too bad I forgot to buy new set of blank digital media (CDs...

How much time do you spend facing your laptops or desktops just surfing and browsing the Internet? For those who work online like most work at home moms of today's generation, the Internet seems like a black hole. Time would start with simple checking of emails, updating of Social Media, watching some videos on line and before you know it hours had passed! There's just so much we could find in the world wide web that sometimes, bookmarking some images or articles is not enough. I am...

Most of my fellow bloggers shared their Valentine's Day experience so might as well share mine too. This year's V-day was not as romantic as last year, wherein hubby and I exchanged gifts and had a date. It was like a simple day for us, no plan of going out after work and we both didn't bothered to buy gifts for each other. What I am expecting from him actually was a sweet SMS as he went off to work. And guess what? My phone did beep and it said "Baby andito sa kanto yun kolektor ng basura,...

I browsed my children's pictures last night as I made my new blog header and I just couldn't help but to think that my kiddos are really going up so fast. I uploaded some of their baby photos to hubby's Facebook account so he could browse it at their office as he eat his lunch. Sometimes I prepare his meal and place it in take-out boxes to bring into his office. I am already expecting text messages from him the minute he saw those cute photos because he seldom use our laptop when he's at...

I guess I am not the only one who have tons of yet to be printed photos either inside a digital camera, laptop or both! Admit it, the culprit are those social media and other photo and video sharing sites. As for me, perfect shots of my family and my three kids should be printed and framed. Oh and speaking of frames, I'm very fond of black or and white picture frames like these: Black or and White Wall Frames I got these from different stores and in different prices. The two squared frames on...

God had tapped my hubby's back quite hard last week. He got himself in peril and just the thought of what happened that day scared the hell out of me. On the bright side, I know he already learned his lesson the hard way. I thought I could say to him "serves you right" since he was too stubborn to listen to me but no, I didn't.. I couldn't. I know how he feels and I can feel that he was still in shock, scared. He's a big man but as his wife, I can always see the child in him that no one else...

Few more minutes and January is finally over and since it's the first month of the year, might as well make a monthly round up post starting with this one.
I'm claiming that this year is MY year. Last year was not really good to me so I'll make the most of 2012. Starting with me and hubby's heart to heart talk before New Year's Eve. I felt hubby's sincerity and strong will to keep his promises that time and it inspires me a lot. It was also the first time that he wrote me a letter:) Goodbye...

Erin was excited when she went home yesterday. She had with her a birthday invitation from her best friend and classmate since Nursery, Zairus. My mom would always tell me how close these two are. When she brings Erin to school and he sees her, it's as if they haven't seen each other for years. The same scene would happen when it's time to go home from their class. They would both wave and say goodbye endlessly until they part ways. So here is my Erin Girl in her dress, ready to have fun at...
