According to wikipaedia,stone age man first came to the philippines around 250,000 BC.The were similar to Java man,presumably they came at a time when there were still land bridges open from the mainland.The negrito,s came later on via the same routes.The sea faring Malays came about more recently only some 6,000 years ago. They brought the Iron age culture to the Philippines.
