Tea is one of plantation commodities produced in tropical countries such Indonesia. Some parts of premium tea are exported while the lower grade are marketed in domestic area. A tea plantation in Bogor of West Java is operated both for tea production and tourism. Ask your travel agency if there any tour packages to the tea plantation area. From Jakarta, it's take around 1-2 hours by land transport.
