Tuesday Trailers: Inbetween (Kissed by Death #1) by Tara Fuller

Inbetween (Kissed by Death #1) by Tara A. Fuller "Since the car crash that took her father’s life three years ago, Emma’s life has been a freaky—and unending—lesson in caution. Surviving “accidents” has taken priority over being a normal seventeen-year-old, so Emma spends her days taking pictures of life instead of living it. Falling in love with a boy was never part of the plan. Falling for a reaper who makes her chest ache and her head spin? Not an option. It’s not easy being dead,...

Music Monday: Never Let Me Go - Florence + the Machine

Florence + The Machine - Never Let Me Go I'm slowly trying to place myself back into blogging mode after months of hiatus. I'm also trying to catch up with my readings, especially since I have this 100 books-read-challenge for 2012. Thank you for sticking around and bearing with my silence. :D This is my first Music Monday for the year (and after my hiatus), and there's nothing like a little bit of Florence + the Machine to kick things off. I'm a huge fan of Florence + the Machine, and...

News: A New Book from J.K. Rowling for Adults

News that J.K. Rowling will write another book, this time for adults, after her five-year hiatus Post-Potter. Little, Brown has clinched the rights for the upcoming book (yet to have a title, release date, and details). Rowling gave a statement about her new project, but she remains unsurprisingly cagey about the details. “Although I’ve enjoyed writing it every bit as much, my next book will be very different to the Harry Potter series, which has been published so brilliantly by Bloomsbury...

Help Restock Yara's Bookshelves!

While lurking online (and still on my hiatus, hi guys!) I found out this unfortunate event that has befallen our fellow book blogger, Yara Santos. I've been following her blog since I started blogging. This is really a sad news but thankfully none of her loved ones were hurt. I think we can show and send Yara our love thru some help that other fellow book bloggers have organized: Reposted from Restock Yara's Bookshelves : I think by now most of you have probably heard that tragedy has...

I Stand Against SOPA

We shouldn't let the anyone trample on our rights on the domain of the internet. It has become not just a basic right but a human right because of its importance to most of us. I stand against SOPA, as well as PIPA. I'm all for against piracy (i.e. of books), but these are not the most viable solution. It's scary what else can follow if these two bills are passed. I fear for the future (on the internet) if it happens. Learn what is SOPA and PIPA. Learn the facts. End Piracy, Not Liberty...

Cover Love: The Savage Grace by Bree Despain + The Lost Letters of Brother Gabriel

The Savage Grace (The Dark Divine #3) by Bree Despain A troubled soul. An impossible choice. A final battle. ----------- I always love the simplicity of The Dark Divine series' covers. This one is not an exception. Though I'm kind of missing the appearance of the nail polish.. :) But the hue of the red is gorgeous and classic. The Dark Divine | The Lost Saint And the recently released companion to The Dark Divine Trilogy : The Lost Letters of Brother Gabriel by Bree Despain November 10,...

Though I still tried to keep updated on some bookish news. Will share soon! And a little giveaway for my followers is due soon. :) I'm excited to hear...
