Would You Ever Consider Plastic Surgery?

I am a fan of reality TV shows and have seen so many different episodes where you see one of the cast of the shows having plastic surgery. For me, I think plastic surgery seems a little scary and something I wouldn’t want to have done unless necessary. I have seen where some surgeries have made a dramatic look for the good, but then I have heard and seen the horror stories on TV too. For instance, I just seen Alexis Bellino from The Real Housewives Of Orange County just have surgery done to...

Jane By Design DVD Review + Video Clip

Remote_image_1333203908.small I am a big fan of the ABC’s Family Channel. This past few months I have been watching Switched At Birth on Tuesdays, but the season has come to an end. Right after Switched At Birth goes off, the show Jane by Design would come on. I watched the first few episodes when it started and wanted to watch it all season. I ended up missing a few episodes so I figured I would wait until it came out on DVD so I can watch the whole season as I want. For me, the shows that I really like, I prefer to...

If Only Milk Was Really Free

Coming home from the airport today I decided to go to the back way home instead of taking the freeway. On my way I passed this gas station with this cow statue on the top and I had to snap a photo of it with my iPhone. I looked at the sign with the cow and laughed and thought to myself, I wish. If milk was free, instead of sometimes more than a gallon of gas, I would have a ton more $$ in my checking account.

Miracle-Gro Expand ‘n Gro Concentrated Planting Mix Review

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Scotts® for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine. Although I wouldn’t say that I have a green thumb, I can say that I do enjoy gardening. Each year I do some kind of gardening, rather it be putting new plants in my flower bed out front of my house, planting seeds and bulbs to grow new flowers or even planting some veggies that I can use since I love to cook. When it comes to dirt, I have learned from experience that dirt is not just...

Wordless Wednesday – Quack Quack

There is a little spot at the river that we love taking the kids to so they can feed the ducks. If we are lucky, we will get to see some pretty Canadian Geese too! There are also seagulls that come, but I don’t take any pictures of them because I am usually trying to avoid them.

When you are a teen, the last thing you want is a breakout, especially on your face. For the next few weeks my daughter Hailey is going to be using the MaxClarity System. This is a non-prescription acne fighting system that has the VersaFoam® technology. These products are used twice a day and the ingredients in the foam are supposed to...

My Pros and Cons When Buying My House

When I was in my early twenties I set a goal for myself that I wanted to buy a house before I turned 30. Growing up I lived most of my childhood in an apartment that my mom rented and always wanted to live in a house like some of my friends and family. Back then, I didn’t realize the costs of buying a house, let alone maintaining one. I just remember always wishing my mom had enough money to move us into a house. Once I became an adult and was on my own, I still yearned to have a house of my...

I am always on the lookout for shows or movies that my 4 year old son will like. Since he is home with me throughout the day, there are times when I need to keep him occupied while I write a blog post or make a phone call. If you are unfamiliar with this title, here is a little bit of information about it: Synopsis – Wallace & Gromit’s...

John Carter In 3D Review + Movie Trailer

This past Tuesday I had the opportunity to watch a screening of Disney’s new movie John Carter in 3D that is playing in theaters now. Once John Carter started playing on the screen in 3D, I was glued to my seat and the movie kept my attention even being over 2 hours long. About the film: From Academy Award®–winning filmmaker Andrew...
