Most bloggers write something about current events. Why not? Especially if it's a global concern, it will definitely be a hit. But is it enough to just write anything down?
Aside from writing quality content about the earthquakes and tsunamis going on around the world, another step to getting people to read it is by choosing the appropriate tags/keywords.
I'm not really a fan of keyword tools other bloggers use because I'm too dumb to understand whatever result they show but I know it's not...

SEO is really tricky especially for newbies. There are several techniques that, as I repeatedly mention in this blog, might work for one but not for another. One thing that a blogger can do though is optimize all of his/her blog's elements including the Single Post Page. Single post page is usually one of the most neglected elements. Although it does not weigh as much as quality content, but it can still help bring in traffic.
Let's start with the permalink. Permalinks are basically the URL...

Part I: Permalinks
For this post, I'll talk about the Post Title. Most of the time, the default structure of a single post page's title is "Blog Title followed with Post Title". This means that whenever your site shows up in search engine, the first thing that other people see is your Blog Title. If you notice, Google tend to cut off the title of the post and end it with three dots [...]. I, for one, always choose the page/site which shows the keyword I typed in the search box on their blog...

Google has provided us with different services and most of them are useful tools for web developers. These are some of the free tools you might find useful: Google Adwords: Keyword Tool - this is what some, if not most, bloggers use to determine the right keywords to use for their articles. Most bloggers who have been doing SEO surely understands why they have to do so. But for newbies, I just want to share how I understand Search Engine Optimization. The target in doing SEO is to put your blog on first page of search engines on a specific keyword. Most of search engine users only check the first page of results and doesn't bother checking the next page. When that happens, there's higher possibility that you'll gain more visitors thus increasing your site's impressions (in terms o

I'm cleaning my blogs and organizing them and if you noticed I've already moved some of my posts to The Peregrinator. Thanks to all the comments. I'm trying my best to visit back.
I'm really hoping I could keep this up. Right now, I'm trying to adjust again and taking it one step at a time.I'm just so glad for the internet for giving me things to take my mind off the loneliness. So far, I've been busy with Linkworth and Microworkers. After a week, I reached the minimum payout for this month in Linkworth and I've also requested for the pin from Microworkers. Aside from those two, I'm busy 'trying

If you remember, I posted about how a website template is important in attracting customers to your online shop, yesterday I spent the whole day designing layout for our multiply site. This is our online store's account and I'm really hoping to get more visitors so I'm revamping it again. Since I'm going to be busy in the coming weeks (or months), my brother and I agreed that he handle all business transactions while I handle the site's maintenance.
It wasn't my first time to "try" but it's...

I remember when I purchased my domain names from GoDaddy, I got help from a friend/blogger in updating the name servers so that my naked domain (domain without "www") will still be redirect to my non-naked domain (domain with "www"). This morning, when I typed in the naked domain of Fashion and Beauty Craze, I am redirected to godaddy temporary page. I don't know what happened ne thing for sure, my settings in Blogger already shows a check on the option "Redirect fashionandbeautycraze.info to...

More and more people are venturing to online business but most of these do not have any idea how to create a website nor do they have any idea on how to make it attract viewers. That's why most of them hire web designers to do it for them. But there are a lot of web designers nowadays which makes it difficult to compete if you are just starting.
In order to stand out, there are things you need to do in order to impress your clients. Your web design proposal should look professional. And as time is really important for these businessmen, you should be able to create an effective proposal in just

If you notice, one of the criteria in joining most blog contests is to write a blog review. I've requested to have my blog reviewed before so I'll know what most visitors notice in my sites and at the same time see if there is anything that I need to improve on. I love getting suggestions from other Bloggers since most of them know what a website needs in order to attract more readers. At least, when I finally decide to submit my blog to a blog directory, I've already made adjustment to my site and I can hope that readers will keep coming back.

We take time to make our websites stand out so we'll be able to proudly ask our friends and other bloggers to visit our sites or exchange links. Then when everything is set, we blog hop, read a little, post a comment then hope that the blog's author would "visit back" and post a comment too. That's one way of interacting with people around blogosphere and at the same time you get the chance to promote your site. But do you comment on every blog that you visit?I used to. But then I thought, what for? After all, if my comments are uninteresting, most probably the blog's author won't be interested

The first thing that a visitor usually notices in a website is the layout. Its what gives the first impression to its readers.
If you own a business and wants to bring it online, the first impression that you would want people to have when they visit your website is "professional". In that case, you might want to invest on professional website templates. You can choose from a list of templates or you can opt to have one custom designed for you. In any case, your template should be able to convey to your visitors that the people behind that website are professionals who means real business.
