Wow such a huge success today at La Vina Community Church! Thank you all that helped out providing service with handing out stuff, setting up, organizing, providing translations, watching children, and much much more! L.I.F.E. Closet Ministry Day, This Friday, March 3rd, 2-6 pm We are going to be offering L.I.F.E. Closet items to our Kidz XL families and our Westchester community free of charge this Friday afternoon. We will be offering Cuban coffee and refreshments as well. We need La Vina members to help set up and distribute L.I.F.E. Closet items and serve coffee and refreshments. Please come as early as 2 pm to help get things ready. We want to be ready to distribute and serve when families come to pick up their children from Kidz XL later in the afternoon. For more information, contact

NO BIBLE STUDIES TONIGHT...The Youth, adult Bible study and women's Bible study groups that normally meet tonight are cancelled as Pastor Rollo and Sarah, Pastor Art and Kyle and Pastor Nic are headed to Charlotte, North Carolina for the annual EFCA district conference. They will be driving so please pray for safe travels. ZUMBA is a new and exciting dance/exercise gathering for women. This is a great opportunity for fun, fellowship and fitness for all ladies. I asked a friend to join me at the Superbowl (La Vina Bowl) get together. He said he was staying away from it because people get too emotional. He told me the last time he watched it with people he lost friends. Instead he went to work. I didn't argue and just went on with my day. When I arrived to church I saw A Lot of people! Praise God that we have 7 food bags, 7 complete family toiletry bags and 2 men and 2 women toiletry bags! Let the generosity begin! Wow, when my husband came home the other day after volunteering at KidzXL saying "I felt like I was on the show are you Smarter Than a Fifth Grader?". I sat back and chuckled with the thought of wow we're gonna be in trouble when Gabby gets older. Well I popped in to KidzXL not prepared to help, but I was asked to check a 5th graders homework and help him with his problems. 1st off, I was never good at math, and 2nd I was so nervous because I've never actually helped tutor anyone (so I'm sweating thinking dear God, please no math problems...ha ha). It was great though. I'm amazed at how disciplined
