This is Joel's "muse" or "goddess." Writing this blog from a Sim's point of view is trying at best. Add the problems I'm having (see "Blog Moving ..." below) and it's completely aggravating! I decided to just drop it, at least for now. It will not show up on WordPress or anywhere else for that matter. I don't think I have many, if any, loyal readers, but I apologize to anyone that does read "It's a Sim's Life".
Goodbye,

I'm having a lot of trouble getting my posts to show up on here. Between that and my problems uploading pictures, I'm moving my blog to WordPress. On WordPress, blogging is easier and photos upload in no time!

Hey, I'm sorry that I haven't posted in such a long time. I've been otherwise occupied. Read on for more info!
I won't bore you with every detail, but overall it's been exciting! After I found out that my boss is both a fox and single, I invited her over again. Unfortunately, she visited faster than I expected and caught me in the tub! How embarrassing.
However, I am not the kind of Sim who lets a little embarrassment get in his way. I chose "Assist Boss With Research" the next day and...

Dude! Ma Bagly is old! She's probably old enough to be my grandmother! I tried to be friendly to her, but she yelled at me anyway. She's so Hot-Headed, I bet she's never been married! But, as you may guess, I might have found someone else! After choosing Business As Usual at work on Monday, I decided to try Help Boss With Research on Tuesday (today)!I found out my boss is a fox! Better yet, she's not much (if any) older than I am. After work, I finished cooking some waffles I had started this morning and then I invited my boss, Meadow Carpenter-Rhodes, over to my house. That's when I dared to ask ...

Sunday is finally here and I have decided to invite Ma Bagly over for a chat. I hope she agrees! However, tending my garden was first on the agenda and I needed a bath after that.If Ma comes over, we'll chat in real life and get to know each other. Otherwise, I might go to a park or the public garden.Got to sign off and call Ma now. Talk to you later!

Oh, gosh. I have five full days to tell you about. I don't know what happened. It seems like just yesterday that I first arrived in Riverview, but it's been seven days! Here's the important stuff that's happened -- what I remember of it, anyway! Wednesday - Fourth Day
I was inspired to choose "Business as Usual" at work.
My boss must like me because I was given a book to read and a raise!! There was also a nice bonus check.
I wanted a computer and decided to buy one, but first I had to purchase a table to put it on and a chair to sit in.
After ...

Hey, I just looked at my last post and saw that my photo didn't show up! Instead of editing or possibly deleting it, I DECIDED to ask for help. Anybody out there know how?For the time being, got to my Sims page for a headshot and check http://www.thesims3.com/myMedia.html?action=default&persona=T_Jewel for some screenshots. As far as my life in Riverview goes, it's terrific! I've already worked two days and all I did there was MEET FELLOW SCIENTISTS! How cool is that?I have a confession to make, though. I stold something from work! That was on my first day and nobody said a word about it on ...

Jake Taylor here again. I'm a Natural Cook, Genius, and Computer Whiz. Unfortunately, I'm also a Kleptomaniac and a bit Inappropriate. However, I CHOSE to put my good qualities to use and JOIN the Science Career. My AMBITION in life is to "BECOME A Creature-Robot Cross Breeder", but I promise not to set any bad Creature-Robots loose on my fellow Sims.My first day in Riverview, I saw two or three houses that were already furnished and within my price range. I decided to BUY one with a GARAGE. I moved in, LOOKED at the paper and TOOK a job as a TEST SUBJECT. It may not be fun, but at least I have ...

My name is Jake Taylor and I'm a Sim. I'm new in my town of Riverview and I intend to blog about my life here. You may not know much about Sims, but we're a lot like Terrans. We eat, play, work, sleep and hang out with our friends. Some Earthers may think Sims don't matter, but you could learn a lot from a Sim. Sims usually wash dishes as soon as they get dirty. We go to work when we're suppose to. We talk to total strangers, unless we're a Loner. We go to movies, concerts and sporting events for entertainment and most of us don't drink alcohol. None of us smoke those filthy cigarretes and ...
