The city of Christchurch council, New Zealand, has commissioned architect Shigeru Ban to reconstruct the century old cathedral. Built in 1864 the cathedral was completely damaged by earthquake on February and June 2011. Shigeru Ban will recreate the historical monument in a sustainable way.
