Software Review: Movavi Video Converter 11

You guys might be wondering what a Video Conversion software has got to do with blogging in general. We’ll tackle that in a bit but first, here’s a disclaimer. While that’s a good thing, there are certain limitations when uploading there, especially with licensed content. Here’s the main interface of the Movavi video converter program. As you can see, it’s relatively simple and you can easily access what you need without going to a ton of menus. The interface is mainly divided into three panels, at the top left is the file queue where you place the videos to be converted and set the encoding preset to be used. Lastly is a preview window to the right that not only shows you how the video will come out, but will also enable you to trim the video and apply some basic effects like adjusting the brightness/contrast, frame rotation as well as watermark placement.

And now for the bloggers, specifically video & film reviewers. This program provides handy tools for creating posts that suit these users. As seen above, you can easily take screenshots of your videos at preset intervals in either BMP, JPG or other formats provided. This is handy especially with bloggers doing episodic reviews of programs that need to showcase some screenshots.

You can also perform conversions that will automatically generate a flash player that can be used for web browsers. Though this specifically works for self-hosted sites and will require an additional installation of modules to work.
