So excited, God is doing Gr8 things!

Gr8 5000 Project. God has opened the door to many serving opportunities and I have seen a lot of you have taken them. Here’s a list of volunteer ideas: In your church:

• Help set up the church for Sunday service weekly on Friday night or Saturday (1-2 hours per week)
• Help set up the church for Kidz XL on Sunday afternoon/evening (1-2 hours per week)
• L.I.F.E. (Love Is For Everyone) Closet coordinator (5-10 hours per month)
• The L.I.F.E. Closet is a new ministry to stock and distribute clothes and food to the needy from our new community closet that we now have set up for this ministry down the hall.

At Kidz XL

• Help kids with homework, weekdays from 3-6 pm (1-2 hours per day)
• Help set up for Kidz XL, weekdays from noon to 1:30 pm (1-1 ½ hours per day)

• Miami Rescue Mission – To volunteer, go to www.miamirescuemission.comor contact Miriam Rojas at miriam23@att.net to find when you can join La Viña CC at the their next volunteer project with the Miami Rescue Mission.

Community opportunities on the horizon

• Meals on Wheels (www.mealcall.org/meals-on-wheels/fl/miami.htm)
• Miami Children’s Hospital (3 hours per week for 3 months required)
