While reading the novel - Pompeii- A Novel, by Robert Harris i was curious to know about the pompeli history and it’s connection with Vesuvius volcano. For your information Vesuvius is one of the dangerous active volcanoes on earth. Still there are more than 3 million people live close to it. This volcano was responsible for the destruction of the pompeli city. This city was one of the populated thriving city with more than 18,000 inhabitants in it. This city used to exist way before 79AD and after 2000 years it’s location on map is completely vanished because of cataclysm of Vesuvius.
