The Best Batteries for your Flash and other AA battery HOGGing Devices.

Fellow Electronic users, you gotta get these Sanyo AA Enveloop batteries. They Rock.

They are rechargable AA and AAA size NI-MH.

Why?

They last along time and hold their charge for over a year even when they just sit there unlike standard NI-MH.

they're only 2000mah but they'll stay that way after a month or so, unlike the standard Ni-MH which are up to 2700mAH now, but in a month's time those 2700 are down to maybe 1500. so these are the only ni-mh that's useful in Flash lights.

These are good for the enviromnent too compared to the non recharagables. They can be charged over 500 times!

I started using these about 7 months ago with a purchase of a 4 pack. and now my Enveloop collections is over 40. I got them for all of our

WIi Controllers, Remote controls, my Canon 430ex flash, 550ex flash, flashlights(LED of course), my Vertical battery grip for my 30D and 20D.

yeah I'm addicted, I'm trying not to buy too many til maybe the second version comes out with higher capacity.

wonder if these will fit my honda civic hybrid. :)

I'm in the Market for a tele. Looking at the 70-200mm F4 Canon

Well it's time for me to look for a replace my sigma 70-210mm F2.8; too big and focus is a tad slow. Mainly it's just too big and heavy, so I end up not taking it. I'm looking to replace it with the canon 70-200mm F4l but I can't decide on the IS or no IS (Image stabalizer. Time to go on Craigslist and find a used copy. It's time like this where the Sensor based IS helps out. :) If I didn't have so much canon gear I might jump over to Sony. Their new system(based on Minolta's 35mm and digital) looks pretty good and they have built in AF motors now like the big boys. I really

Just picked up a 60mm canon macro lens

I bought recently a 60mm macro for my camera. it such a fun toy. I got some cool photo of my kids eyeball. My daughter thinks it looks gross because she thinks it looks like a venus fly trap. Where she got that idea from? probably my son who loves plants which acts like some crazy science fiction thingee. We tried having one of those but it didn't last very long. I think it requires too much moisture. anyways back to the macro. the 60mm at 2.8 has good blur of the background, so you can use it as a portrait lens too. it would be like having a 100mm equivalent on a 35mm camera. Once I
