Four Third DIgital Camera system, how much longer can it go?

With APC size camera sensors in most of the digital SLRs, I'm wondering how much life is left on the Olympus system.
Eventually they won't be able to squeeze more megapixel into the sensor without adding noise. But then again cmos technology is always improving. I just see full frame(35mm size) being normal within the next 5 years. Anyone buying 4/3 lens will find them to be useless when Olympus goes to a larger sensor, just like Canons EF-S and Nikon's DX lens. Leica and Panasonic is also in the same band. They must know something we don't know. Either that or the don't mind the fact your lens won't be worth anything in 5 years and you'll have to buy new lens.
I guess looking at the manual focus olympus OM series, they didn't really have any choice but to start a new lens mount, but going with the small sensor I think will hurt them in the long run.
